Nezha

In 1535, on the coast of Bretonne in the new age of exploration, an amnesiac youth was pulled from the sea by fishermen and woke in a cave. Clad in flame-patterned golden armor and wielding an unyielding Fire-Tipped Spear, he remembered nothing but a slaughter amid endless yellow sand and a place called "Chentang Pass." When the fishing village youth Wina came to him for help, he hesitated again and again and said nothing, convinced that "a man must save himself before the gods will help him." On the night the villagers fled from a sea monster's assault, Nezha, suffering in the cold spirit energy of this strange world, rekindled his divine power. When Wina threw stones into the sea and lured the demon alone, he rode the Wind Fire Wheels through the clouds, his spear splitting the sea and his ring and sash sealing evil, slaying the monster with barely three-tenths of his strength and cutting through the gloom to bring back the light. After the battle, he left his true name at dawn and departed like a shooting star to the east. And among the fishermen's tales, he was no longer the cold stranger from the cave, but the "Guardian God of the Sea" reborn from flame, who raised his spear for the desperate. But no one knew that deep within that reawakened power, two curses from two worlds still lingered: one, the unfinished fate of his homeland; the other, the cold flame that burns the soul in this land's thin spirit energy. Since then, a legend has spread among adventurers of the Eastern Continent - of a youth who walks through fire, searching for others who, like him, came to this other world, and that one day, they will open the gate between the two worlds and return home.
